Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Overwatch 2 lately, like really deep. And one of the things I’ve been most hyped about is the Mythic skins. They’re just so cool, you know? So, I started digging around to see what might be coming up next. Here’s what I did, and what I found.
My Hunt for Mythic Skin Intel
First, I just started by straight-up Googling. I mean, that’s the obvious first step, right? I typed in stuff like “upcoming overwatch 2 mythic skins,” “overwatch 2 mythic skin leaks,” and “overwatch 2 mythic skin rumors.” Just throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks.
This led me down a rabbit hole of forums, Reddit threads, and some, uh, questionable websites. Gotta be careful with those, you never know what you’re gonna find. I spent a good chunk of time just sifting through all the posts and comments. It was a lot of “I heard from a friend of a friend” type stuff, but I did find some interesting leads.
Digging Through the Overwatch Community
Next, I hit up the official Overwatch forums. I figured, who better to ask than the people who are actually playing the game, right? I found a few threads already talking about potential Mythic skins, and I jumped right into the conversations. There was a lot of speculation, of course, but some people seemed to have some inside knowledge, or at least, they claimed to.
I also spent some time on the Overwatch subreddit. That place is a goldmine of information, both good and bad. I found some pretty convincing mock-ups of potential Mythic skins, and some heated debates about which heroes deserved one the most. It was a lot to take in, but it definitely gave me a better sense of what the community is hoping for.
