Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Wuthering Waves lately, and let me tell you, the Tower of Adversity is NO JOKE. I wanted to share my experience, ’cause man, it was a journey.
Getting Started
First things first, I made sure my team was up to snuff. I spent some time leveling up my main Resonators, making sure their skills were upgraded, and getting their weapons sorted. You really don’t wanna go in there underprepared. Trust me, I learned that the hard way!

The First Few Floors
The first few floors were, honestly, pretty chill. I used my go-to team – you know, a good mix of DPS, a healer, and someone who could break shields. I was mostly just getting a feel for the enemy types and the layouts of the stages. I smashed through these initial stages without much trouble.
Things Get Spicy
Then, things started to get REAL. Around, like, floor 4 or 5, the difficulty spiked. I started seeing enemies with way more health, and they hit HARD. I had to actually start paying attention to my dodges and using my Resonance Skills at the right time. No more button mashing!
- Switching it Up: I realized my usual team wasn’t cutting it anymore. Some enemies were super resistant to certain elements, so I had to build a couple of different teams to swap between, depending on the challenge.
- Echoes are Key: I also started experimenting more with my Echoes. Man, finding the right Echo set for each Resonator can make a HUGE difference. It’s like, suddenly they’re doing way more damage, or they’re tanky enough to survive those big hits.
The Real Grind
The higher floors…oof. These were a true test. I spent hours tweaking my teams, experimenting with different Echo combinations, and learning the attack patterns of each enemy. I even watched a few videos online to get some strategy tips – no shame in that!
My Strategy: Practice, Practice, Practice, and Change
It became more of repetition, getting use to attack patterns. Here’s a quick rundown of what worked best for me:
- Patience is a Virtue: Seriously, some of these fights took a LONG time. It’s all about chipping away at the enemy’s health while staying alive.
- Don’t Be Afraid to Experiment: If something isn’t working, don’t be stubborn! Try a different team, different Echoes, different skills. You might be surprised at what works.
- Learn the Patterns: Every enemy has a tell. You just need to be able to recognize it.
Victory (Finally!)
It was a tough slog, but I eventually cleared all the available stages. The feeling of finally beating that last boss was AMAZING. It’s definitely a challenge, but it’s also super rewarding. The loot is pretty great, too – definitely worth the effort.

And don’t be shy of changing strategy midway. Sometimes, the key is patience, sometimes it’s about going all out with damage, sometimes it’s about getting the perfect dodge.
My biggest piece of advice? Don’t give up! Keep practicing, keep experimenting, and you’ll conquer the Tower of Adversity. It’s a beast, but it’s beatable.
