Okay, so I’ve been seeing tons of chatter online about whether or not we’re getting another Elden Ring DLC. “Shadow of the Erdtree” was HUGE, right? But like any good addict, I’m already craving more. So, I started digging around to see if there was any hint of a second DLC.
My Little Investigation
First, I jumped onto the usual forums – Reddit, GameFAQs, you know the drill. Lots of speculation, of course. Some folks were convinced it was a done deal, pointing to past FromSoftware games and their DLC patterns. Others were way more pessimistic, saying “Shadow of the Erdtree” was the definitive end.

Then, I went to check official sources. I scoured the Bandai Namco website, the FromSoftware site, and even the official Elden Ring Twitter account. I was looking for any press releases, announcements, interviews – anything that would give a concrete answer. Most of what I found was about “Shadow of the Erdtree”.
- I found a few interviews with Hidetaka Miyazaki (the big boss at FromSoftware).
- In some of those interviews, he talked about how “Shadow of the Erdtree” is the largest DLC they’ve ever made.
- He also mentioned at one point they weren’t ruling out future content, but nothing * game developer answer, right?
I also spent some time looking at the game’s *, you know, I’m no data miner. Still, I tried to see if there were any hidden files or hints within the game itself. No luck there, I must admit.
The Conclusion (For Now)
So, after all that digging, what’s the verdict? Honestly, it’s still up in the air. There’s no official “yes” or “no” yet. But, considering how successful Elden Ring and “Shadow of the Erdtree” have been, and FromSoftware’s history, I’m leaning towards “probably.” I mean, they’d be leaving money on the table if they didn’t, right?
For now, all we can do is wait and see. I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for any news, and you can bet I’ll be sharing it here as soon as I find anything!
