Well, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout this Brock Lesnar fella and this WWE stuff. Folks keep askin’, is he comin’ back or what? It’s like waitin’ for rain in a drought, ya know? All this talk, talk, talk, but where’s the beef?
I heard tell he’s still got a contract, some kinda paper thingy that keeps him tied to ’em. But seein’ is believin’, and I ain’t seen hide nor hair of him on that wrestling TV show. They said he was supposed to come back earlier this year, but pffft, that didn’t happen. He’s just sittin’ on the sidelines, like a rooster that don’t crow no more.
Now, these internet folks, they keep stirrin’ the pot. Every now and then, you hear a whisper, a rumor, that he’s comin’ back. Someone saw him at the grocery store, someone heard from a friend of a friend. This time, though, some folks who usually know what’s what, they said it too. So, maybe, just maybe, there’s somethin’ to it.
But then you hear somethin’ else. They say WWE ain’t got no plans for him right now. Maybe they’re scared, what with all that legal trouble he got into. Like a dog that bit someone, they keep him on a tight leash, far away from the chickens.
- They mention his name on TV sometimes, just to tease ya, like dangling a carrot in front of a donkey.
- But then, nothin’. He’s still gone.
Back then, when they first started talkin’ about him comin’ back, they said he was gonna fight that Gunther fella. That big German fella with the angry face. He was a champion then, a big deal. But things change, ya know? Gunther ain’t a champion no more, so maybe that fight ain’t gonna happen neither.
It’s all a big mess, if you ask me. Like a tangled ball of yarn. You try to find the end, but it just gets more and more confusing. One minute he’s comin’ back, the next minute he ain’t. It’s enough to give a body a headache.
I like Brock, though. He’s a good ol’ boy, even if he is a bit rough around the edges. Some folks say he’s one of the best wrestlers ever, but I dunno ’bout that. He’s strong, for sure, like a bull in a china shop. And he’s always himself, he don’t put on no airs, ya know? He is what he is. That’s more than you can say for some of them city slickers in fancy pants.
So, will he come back? That’s the million-dollar question, ain’t it? I reckon nobody knows for sure, not even them big shots at WWE. Maybe he’ll show up tomorrow, maybe he’ll never show up again. It’s like waitin’ for a train that might not ever come. All you can do is sit on the porch and wait, and maybe swat a few flies while you’re at it.
But if you ask me, and nobody ever does, I think he’ll be back. He’s got that fightin’ spirit, that stubbornness. He ain’t gonna stay away forever. He’s like a bad penny, he always turns up. Just gotta be patient, I guess. Like waitin’ for the corn to grow, it takes time, but it’ll happen eventually.
