Okay, so I was trying to figure out when Strickland’s next fight is, right? I’m a big fan, and I didn’t want to miss it. So, I started digging around to find the answer. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be!
First, I opened up my browser and typed in “Sean Strickland next fight” into the search bar. I got a bunch of results, but they were all from different websites, and some of them were old news. Nothing was giving me a straight answer, or if it was even scheduled yet.
Then, I remembered that there are some specific sports news sites that are usually pretty good with this kind of info. So, I went to a couple of those – you know, the big names. I scrolled through their MMA sections, looking for any headlines about Strickland. Still, found nothing concrete. Lots of articles about his past fights, or his training, and lots of commentary, but nothing about his next scheduled fight!
Next, I figured I should check out the official UFC website. I mean, that’s where the most accurate information should be, right? I navigated to their site and found the fighter profiles. I clicked on Strickland’s page, hoping to see his next fight clearly listed.
- Looked at his profile – nothing there about an upcoming fight.
- Checked the schedule for upcoming events – still, not a peep about him in any of the scheduled fights.
- Scanned through recent news articles on the site – nada.
Feeling a little frustrated, I decided to try a different tactic. Social media! I jumped onto Twitter and searched for Strickland’s handle. I scrolled through his recent posts and replies. Nothing. I also checked some MMA news accounts that I follow, but again I drew a blank. I even checked Reddit, to see if any other fans had found out anything useful, but had no luck there either.
At this point, I was starting to think that maybe his next fight just hadn’t been announced yet. It happens. But I was still curious, so I went back to the search engine and tried some different search terms.

- “Sean Strickland next opponent”
- “UFC middleweight schedule”
These searches turned up a few more interesting articles. Some were speculating about potential opponents for Strickland, but there was nothing official. Some were saying his fight could happen in late January, but no confirmation. Basically just lots of rumors and speculation, that was all.
So, after all that digging, I came to the conclusion that Strickland’s next fight hasn’t been officially scheduled yet. It’s a bit of a bummer, but it’s also kind of exciting. It means there’s still something to look forward to! I’ll just have to keep an eye on the news and hope they announce it soon. When they do, I will be ready.
