Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Mirrorwatch Abilities” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I wanted to share what I’ve been up to, mostly ’cause it’s been a lot of trial and error, and maybe someone else can learn from my mistakes (and successes!).
Getting Started
First off, I had to figure out what I even wanted to do. “Mirrorwatch Abilities” is pretty broad, right? So, I started by just brainstorming. I grabbed a notebook and jotted down everything that came to mind, no matter how silly it seemed. I ended up with a bunch of random ideas, like a character who could swap places with their reflection, or one that could make their reflection act independently.

Narrowing it Down
After that, I needed to, you know, actually pick something. I looked at my list and tried to imagine what would be the most fun to mess with, and also what would be, like, remotely achievable. I settled on the idea of a character who could create a temporary “mirror image” that would mimic their movements for a few seconds.
Experimentation Time!
This is where things got messy. I started by trying to just, well, make it happen. Without any clue how, LOL.
I’ve spent several days on this with no results. I’m so stupid!
The “Aha!” Moment
I was starting to get super frustrated, but then I realized I am not going to give up. After a lot of days, eventually, I make it! Now I can create a mirrored image, and it can last for seconds!
Polishing and Tweaking
Of course, it wasn’t perfect right away. The mirror image was kinda janky, and the timing was off. So I spent a good chunk of time just tweaking things. I adjusted the duration, smoothed out the animations, and tried to make it look as cool as possible. There’s still a lot I want to do with it, but it’s at a point where I’m actually pretty happy with it.

My takeaway
It requires so much patience to do those funny and creative stuff. It’s not easy, but will be full of sense of achievement when you really make it!
