Alright, so I finally got around to diving into “Gray Zone Warfare” and messing with the “Invaders from afar” task. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a ride. Here’s how it went down:
Getting Started
First, I launched the game, obviously. I spent a good few minutes just getting my bearings, making sure my controls were set up just how I like them. you know adjusting this and that. Then, I jumped into the “Invaders from afar” task. The briefing was kinda vague, just the usual military talk, so I knew I was in for some surprises.

The Recon Phase
My first move was to scout the area. I grabbed my best rifle one with a decent scope and started creeping around the edges of the zone. I used my binoculars like ten times. I was trying to spot any enemy patrols, likely spots, you know, the whole tactical deal. It’s always better to know what you’re walking into, right? Patience is key at this stage.
Making Contact (and Mistakes)
Of course, it wasn’t long before I stumbled upon some enemies. I tried to be all sneaky, taking them out one by one from a distance. I nailed the first couple of guys but then I missed and my position being exposed. A firefight, and let’s just say I learned the hard way that these enemies aren’t messing around. They hit hard, and they’re pretty accurate, too!
Adjusting My Strategy
After I failed one time, I realized I needed to change things up. I decided to go for a more aggressive approach. Instead of creeping around, I started using the terrain to my advantage, flanking the enemy positions and using grenades to flush them out. This worked way better. I think I used five * felt good to be clearing enemies more efficiently, even if it was a bit chaotic.
The Final Push
The last part of the task was the toughest. There was this heavily fortified area with a bunch of enemies. I tried a few different things, like going in guns blazing (which didn’t end well) and trying to sneak through a back route (which was guarded, oops). Finally, I managed to find a good spot where I could take out a few enemies from a distance, then rush in while they were reloading. It was a close call, but I managed to pull it off.
Wrapping Up
Completing the “Invaders from afar” task was so satisfying. It took some trial and error, a few deaths, and a lot of ammo, but I got there. It definitely taught me the importance of adapting to the situation and not being afraid to try different tactics. The whole time I think lasted about an hour! I had to replay three times, and finally got it.
I just record all my game process!
