Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Stellar Blade recently, and the big question on everyone’s mind seems to be: “Cooperate or not?” I mean, that choice with Adam in the game…it weighs on you, right?
So, here’s how it went down for me. I started a new game, fresh, just to really test this out. I played through the early sections, making sure to hit all the side quests, gather resources, you know, the usual. The goal was to get to that pivotal moment in the story, where Adam lays it all out, as strong as possible.
The Build-Up
The game really does a number on you, making you question everything. You are constantly fighting these creatures. So, when the choice popped up on my screen – cooperate with Adam or refuse – I actually paused the game.
Seriously, I sat there for a good five minutes, just staring at the screen. I’d heard all the rumors, read the online chatter, but I wanted to see it play out myself, in my own game.
The Decision
Eventually I take a deep breath and go with the cooperation route.
I was amazed.
The Aftermath
I’m not going to spoil the specifics, but let’s just say the narrative takes some wild turns depending on your choice. The gameplay shifts, too. After choosing, i immediately start a new game plus to make the other choice, I want to explore that route to the fullest, too!
My advice? Try one route, then use New Game Plus to do a fast playthrough and try the opposite choice. It is absolutely worth experiencing both sides of the story. Stellar Blade really messes with your expectations, and that’s what makes it so compelling.
