Okay, so I was messing around in Genshin Impact the other day, and I got curious about these “special keys.” I’d heard whispers about them, seen a few cryptic posts online, but nothing concrete. So, I decided to dive in and figure out what the deal was.
First, I started by just playing the game as usual. I figured maybe I’d stumble upon one naturally. I explored every nook and cranny of the new areas, did all the quests, opened every chest I could find. Nothing. Plenty of regular keys, but no “special” ones.
Then I hit the forums. I scrolled through pages of posts, mostly people asking the same question I had: “Where do I find these special keys?” There were a few vague hints, mentions of specific quests or locations, but nothing that really helped me. It felt like chasing a ghost.
Digging Deeper
So, I decided to get a bit more methodical. I started keeping a list of every quest I completed, every chest I opened, and every area I fully explored. I figured if I was going to find this thing, I needed to be organized.
- Checked every single quest reward. Nope.
- Double-checked all the usual chest locations. Still nothing.
- Explored even the most annoying, out-of-the-way spots. Zilch.
The key, in particular, had me trying a special quest.
I won’t bore you with every single dead end I went down, but trust me, there were many. After many hours, I realised that a lot of that stuff on the forums was bunk. Made up, or just plain wrong.
I almost threw my device against a wall, no joke.
