Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at Monopoly Go, like everyone else, and I saw this “Fortune Countdown” thing pop up. I was curious, so I figured I’d give it a shot and see what all the fuss was about. I mean, who doesn’t love free stuff, right?
Getting Started
First, I made sure I was logged into the game. Pretty obvious, I know, but you’d be surprised how many times I’ve messed that up.
Then i waited for the event to become avaliable, and after that i jumped in straight away!
The Actual Playing Part
I started rolling, trying to land on those special tiles. It felt like a regular game at first, only every now and then I’d hit one of the countdown tiles, and my little counter would tick down. Honestly, I didn’t have a super-specific strategy. I just played like I normally do, trying to build up my properties and bankrupt my opponents (in a friendly way, of course!).
I noticed that the countdown tiles weren’t super rare, which was cool. It wasn’t like you had to roll a perfect seven every time to land on one. I kept playing, and the counter kept going down. There was this little animation each time, nothing fancy, but it was enough to keep me motivated.
The Results
After a few games, I finally hit zero on the countdown! And… I got some dice rolls and some in-game cash. It wasn’t anything life-changing, you know, but it was something, it will get me rolling for a little while longer!
It’s a nice little bonus. It definitely made me want to keep playing the game a bit more, just to see if I could trigger it again. My personal recommendation is to get involved!
