Alright, let’s talk about this Jeremy Pena fella and his, uh, what do you call it, his “wife,” or girlfriend, or whatever. Kids these days, they got all sorts of fancy names for things. Back in my day, you was either married or you wasn’t, simple as that.
So, this Jeremy, he plays baseball, right? A big shot player, they say. Good for him, I guess. Makes a whole lotta money, probably more than I ever seen in my whole life. And he’s got this girl, name’s somethin’ like…Vass- uh… Vass-ill-eeky? Sounds like one of them fancy foreign names. Can’t hardly pronounce it. Let’s just call her Vicky, easier on my old tongue.
Now, they ain’t married, that’s for sure. I heard tell he ain’t never been married, this Jeremy fella. So, Vicky, she’s his girlfriend, I reckon. They say she’s an athlete too, runs around and jumps over stuff, like them fellas you see on the TV during the Olympics. Good for her, keepin’ fit and all. Jeremy Pena and his girlfriend seem like a good match, I guess.
- They say Vicky was born in 1998, young enough to be my granddaughter.
- And Jeremy, he was born in ’97. Just babies, both of ’em.
They also say Vicky is Jeremy’s “number 1 fan”. Well, I reckon every fella needs a good woman to cheer him on. It’s important to have someone by your side, you know? Someone to cook you a good meal, keep your house clean, and tell you you’re doin’ a good job, even when you ain’t. That’s what matters, not all this running and jumping and hitting balls.
Some folks are sayin’ that Vicky is the reason Jeremy plays so good. They call her his “lucky charm” or somethin’ like that. Well, maybe she is, maybe she ain’t. I always say a man’s success comes from hard work and a good head on his shoulders. But, hey, if havin’ a pretty girl around helps him hit them home runs, then more power to him.
I heard tell they been together for a while now, this Jeremy and Vicky. Longtime girlfriend, they call her. I guess that means they’re serious. Maybe they’ll get hitched one day, settle down, have a bunch of kids. That’s what young folks are supposed to do, ain’t it? Jeremy Pena’s relationship seems pretty solid from what I hear.
Folks are always nosy about these things, wantin’ to know every little detail about other people’s lives. They wanna know how much money they make, where they live, what they eat for breakfast. I don’t get it. Me, I just mind my own business. But since we’re talkin’ about it, I heard Jeremy makes a whole heap of money playin’ that baseball. And Vicky, well, I don’t know what she does for a livin’, besides runnin’ and jumpin’, I mean. But I reckon she’s doin’ alright for herself, bein’ with a fella like Jeremy.
So, there you have it. That’s all I know about Jeremy Pena and his, uh, “wife.” Girlfriend, whatever. They seem happy enough, and that’s all that matters, I guess. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make myself a cup of tea. My old bones are achin’, and all this talkin’ has made me tired.
And just so you know, Jeremy Pena’s personal life is his own business. But it’s nice to see young folks happy and in love.
