Okay, so I finally decided to dive deep into the new relics in HSR version 2.3. I’d been putting it off, but with the new characters coming, I figured it was time to get serious. Here’s how it all went down, step by step.
Getting Started
First, I logged into the game and headed straight for the Cavern of Corrosion. I knew the new sets were in there, and I was eager to see what they were all about. I’ve been running the same old relics for ages, so a change was definitely welcome.

The Grind Begins
Man, the first few runs were rough. I spent a good chunk of my Trailblaze Power just trying to get a feel for the new enemies and their patterns. I got my butt kicked a few times, not gonna lie. It took a while to figure out the best team comp to consistently clear the stage. I started with my usual team, but quickly realized I needed to switch things up. I swapped out a couple of characters, added a stronger healer, and that seemed to do the trick.
Analyzing the Drops
After each run, I took a close look at the relics I got. At first, it was mostly just fodder – you know, the usual three-star and four-star stuff. But after a few more clears, I finally started seeing some of those shiny new five-star relics.
I was specifically looking for the “Diverging Universe” set, as I heard it’s great. The “Iron Cavalry Against Scourge”set seems good, and it would suit some support characters well.
Testing and Experimenting
Once I had a few decent pieces, I started experimenting. I equipped them on different characters and ran some Simulated Universe stages to see how they performed. I also tested them out in the Forgotten Hall to get a better sense of their effectiveness in tougher content.
It was a lot of trial and error. Some pieces I thought would be amazing turned out to be just okay, while others surprised me with how well they worked. I definitely learned a lot about the new sets and how to best utilize them.
The Final Verdict (For Now)
After a solid day of grinding and testing, I’ve finally settled on a few relic setups that I’m happy with. I still need to farm for better substats, but I’m definitely making progress. It’s a long process, but it’s rewarding to see my characters getting stronger with each new piece.

All I have to do is repeating it again.
