Alright, guys, let’s talk about gathering ascension materials for Rover in Wuthering Waves. I started this process right after I unlocked Rover. The first thing I needed to do was, to figure out, what exactly I needed.
Figuring Out the Materials
So, I opened up the game and navigated to Rover’s profile. There, under the ascension tab, you find a list of everything, and you see those little icons for each material, and the quantities.
I grabbed a piece of paper and jotted down everything:
- Shell Credits – Seemed easy enough, would get those naturally.
- Those weird flower things (Belle Poppy) – I remembered seeing these around, didn’t know their name, then.
- Some kind of Whisperin Core things – Okay, these looked like I had to fight some monsters.
- A special boss drop (Rage Tacet Core) – This was obviously the bigger hurdle.
Collecting the Belle Poppies
Now I started my farming, I started to collect Belle Poppies, the flowers. I have a few of those, I just opened up my map and looked for areas with, flower icons. I teleported to those spots and ran around, picking up every flower I saw. Pretty simple, just a bit of running, and a bit of time. The key here is to be systematic. Don’t just wander aimlessly; have a plan and sweep the areas, it is my suggestion.
Farming the Whisperin Cores
Next up, those Whisperin Cores, that fighting monsters thing. These things drop from those Tacet Discords, the floating monsters you see all over the place.
Again, I opened up my map, found some enemy clusters marked and teleported to them. I fought every enemy I saw, making sure to use my best skills and combos to take them down quickly. I did this for, like, an hour, maybe a bit more. I tried to chain together fights to save time on traveling.
Tackling the Rage Tacet Core Boss
Okay, the big one. The Rage Tacet Core. This comes from a specific boss, the Impermanence Heron. Found it on my map, no surprises there. This fight was definitely tougher than the regular mobs. I had to actually pay attention!
I went in with my best team, made sure everyone was properly leveled and equipped. I studied the boss’s attack patterns during my first try. Got my butt kicked, naturally. But I learned! Second try, I focused on dodging those big attacks and finding openings to deal damage. Took a few tries, no shame in that, It’s a boss fight. Eventually, I got the hang of it and beat the boss. Got my Rage Tacet Cores.
Putting It All Together
Finally, with all my materials gathered, I went back to Rover’s profile. Clicked that ascension button and boom, level cap increased! It felt good, and now I could level up Rover some more and make them even stronger. I repeated this whole process, to get all the materials for the next ascension levels. It’s a bit of a grind, that is very clear, but totally worth it. This made Rover a key player in my main team, which is a blast.
