Okay, here’s my take on the “Dreamlight Valley: A New Recruit” quest, written as a personal blog post:
So, I jumped back into Dreamlight Valley today, and guess what? Goofy needed my help! It was all about this “A New Recruit” quest. Basically, he wanted to get his son, Max, into the valley. Sounds simple, right? Well, it wouldn’t be Dreamlight Valley without a few…detours.
Getting Started with Goofy
First, I talked to Goofy. He was all excited, rambling about Max and how much he’d love the valley. It was kinda cute, actually. He gave me this list of stuff Max supposedly needed to become a “Recruit.”
The Goofy “List”
- Finding a special “Student ID.”
- Gathering some weird “Extracurricular Flairs” – basically badges.
- Making a “Power Smoothie”. Because, of course.
The Hunt for the ID
The ID was the first thing. Goofy hinted it was somewhere near his stall in the Peaceful Meadow. After some searching, I found it tucked away near some bushes. Seriously, who loses an ID like that?
Extracurricular what?
Next up, those “Extracurricular Flairs”. These were scattered all over the place! One was near the beach, another by the Plaza…it was a bit of a scavenger hunt. I spent a good chunk of time just running around, picking these things up.
Smoothie Time
Then came the smoothie. Goofy gave me the recipe, thankfully. It needed some weird ingredients, like those glowing “Dream Shards” and some fruit. I already had most of the stuff in my storage, so it wasn’t too bad. Mixing it all together at the cooking station was easy peasy.
Finally Talking with Max.
With all that done, I went back to Goofy. He used some magic phone booth thing to call Max, and after a short conversation, Max showed up in the valley!
It’s very nice to see this father and son reuniting in dreamlight valley!
