Jumping into NG+
Then I jumped into New Game Plus. The first thing I noticed no carried-over Scadutree Blessing. I was pretty much back to square one in terms of the blessing’s effects. My stats and gear were all there, but that Scadutree buff? Gone.
The Experiment: Comparing Damage
Okay, here’s where I got a little more specific. I picked a random enemy, one of those early-game guys, to test my damage output on. I wrote down the numbers before doing anything with the new Scadutree Fragments in NG+.
- Before (NG+ with no new blessings): Let’s say I was hitting for 100 damage (it’s just an example).
Collecting and Upgrading Again
Next, I started collecting Scadutree Fragments all over again in the new *’s work to find, but I did find one to try.
- After (NG+ with a few blessings): Found a blessing, I was hitting that same enemy for, say, 110 damage.
My Conclusion
So, based on my little experiment, it’s pretty clear: the Scadutree Blessing does NOT carry over into New Game Plus. You gotta collect those fragments and level up the blessing all over again each time you start a new game cycle. It’s kind of a bummer, but hey, it keeps things challenging, right?
It definitely feels like you’re starting fresh in terms of that Scadutree boost, even though you keep your other gear and levels. So, plan accordingly if you’re heading into NG+! Don’t expect to be super-powered from the Scadutree right away.
