Alright, guys, so I’ve been grinding Fortnite like crazy lately, trying to figure out the absolute best loadout. And let me tell you, it’s been a JOURNEY. I’ve died so many times experimenting, it’s not even funny. But, I think I’ve finally cracked the code, at least for my playstyle. It’s all about that “ace” setup, you know?
My “Ace” Fortnite Loadout Journey
First off, I started by just grabbing whatever I could find. Shotguns, SMGs, whatever. Total chaos. I was getting wrecked left and right. I realized I needed a PLAN.
Then, I started focusing on the “meta.” You know, what all the streamers and pros are using. Lots of shotguns, for sure. I tried the pump, the tac, the whole nine yards. The pump was powerful, but I’m just not quick enough with it. Kept getting caught reloading. The tac was okay, but felt a little weak sometimes.
I started experimenting with different ARs too. The SCAR is always a classic, and it felt pretty good. But I was craving something with a little more…oomph. That’s when I rediscovered the power of a good burst AR. Seriously, if you can land those bursts, you can MELT people.
- The Tactical Shotgun: I found that the Tactical Shotgun worked best for me and how I play.
- The Burst Assault Rifle: If you time your shots right, you can take someone out very quickly.
- Healing Items: I always grab a few of these.
- Shields: Never leave home without shields!
- Mobility: It’s key to be able to move around the map.
For heals, I went pretty standard. Some minis, some big pots, maybe some bandages if I was desperate. Nothing too crazy there. The key, I found, was being SMART about when to heal. Don’t just pop a mini in the middle of a firefight, please!
And finally, mobility. This is HUGE, especially in the later circles. I used to ignore those launch pads and shockwave grenades, but now? They’re my best friends. Getting the high ground, escaping a sticky situation… it’s all about that mobility.
So, after all that trial and error, here’s what I’ve settled on:
- A good solid Shotgun. The auto shotgun has been working great, but a really good Tactical can be just as good!
- The Burst Assault Rifle. Still the best in my books.
- Some kind of healing. At least two slots, usually minis and big pots.
- Mobility item. Shockwaves, launch pad, whatever you can find.
- Flex slot. This is where I put whatever I’m feeling. Sometimes it’s a sniper, sometimes it’s more heals, sometimes it’s just a bunch of grenades. Go wild!
Honestly, the “best” loadout is whatever works best for YOU. But this setup has been working wonders for me. I’ve been getting more Victory Royales, and more importantly, I’ve been having more FUN. And isn’t that what it’s all about?
