Alright, guys, so I finally jumped into Wuthering Waves and oh boy, Yinlin is a beast! But, like any character, you gotta farm those ascension materials to really make her shine. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a grind, but totally worth it. So, here’s how my little adventure went.
First Steps: Getting Started
First things first, I needed to figure out what I even needed. I did some digging and got a list of everything to gather.
So, I needed:
- Shell Credits, you know, the game’s currency.
- Those Pecok Flower, that’s found in Taoyuan Vile.
- Some special Mutating Tacet Cores dropped by Helmet Hermit, Crowned, and Bell-Borne Geochelone.
- Then the basic Unending Destruction, of course, dropped by Feilian Beringal.
The Farming Journey
First, I started hunting at Taoyuan Vile. I found those Pecok Flower, and just pulled them.
I spent hours running around, hunting those Hermit and Geochelone. I mean, seriously, hours! It felt like they were playing hide-and-seek with me. The drop rates for the Mutating Tacet Cores weren’t always the best, but I stuck with it. I found that using characters who could deal some major AoE damage helped clear them out faster, making the whole process a little less painful.
And for Unending Destruction, I beat Feilian Beringal, and repeated again and again.
The Payoff
After all that grinding, I finally had enough of everything. It was time to ascend Yinlin. I went to the character screen, clicked that glorious “Ascend” button, and watched her stats go boom. Seriously, the difference was night and day. All that hard work was definitely worth it. Now she is one of the strongest one in my team!
