Alright, guys, so I’ve been messing around with this “double evo” thing in the tournament, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I wanted to share my experience, from the initial idea to actually pulling it off (sometimes).
The Brainstorm
So, I started thinking, “How can I make some truly overpowered decks?” I saw some folks online talking about using two evolutions in one deck and figured I’d give it a shot. It sounded kinda nuts, but hey, why not?

The Experiment Begins
First, I tried just throwing a bunch of evolved cards together. Big mistake. It was a total mess. No synergy, no strategy, just a bunch of strong cards that didn’t work together at all. I got crushed, like, really crushed.
Lesson one: You can’t just slap random evolved cards together and expect to win. You gotta think about how they play off each other.
Building the Beasts
Next, I spent some time actually planning. I looked for evolutions that complemented each other. Stuff like, one evo that boosts attack, and another that gives you extra defense. That kinda thing.
- I started with a base deck I was already comfortable with. No need to reinvent the wheel, right?
- Then I carefully picked two evolutions that seemed like they’d work well together. This took a lot of trial and error.
- I made sure I had enough support cards. You know, the cards that help you get your evolutions out faster and keep them alive.
Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3
Then came the testing phase. I played a ton of games, tweaking the deck after each one. Sometimes I’d swap out a card, sometimes I’d change the whole strategy. It was a grind, but it was also kinda fun seeing the deck slowly get better.
Victory (and Defeat)
Finally, I had a deck that was actually working. It wasn’t perfect, I still lost some games, but I was winning way more than I was losing. Pulling off the double evo felt amazing, like you’re unleashing some unstoppable force.
Lesson two: Don’t give up! It takes time and effort to build a good deck, especially with something as crazy as double evolutions.

So, that’s my story. It’s not a guide on how to build the perfect double evo deck, because honestly, I’m still figuring that out myself. But hopefully, it gives you some idea of the process and what to expect. It’s challenging, frustrating, but ultimately, super rewarding when it works. Good luck trying it out, you will need the luck!
