Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with the 4.8 abyss in Genshin. I’ve been putting it off, but figured it was time to just get it done.
First thing I did was check out the enemy lineups. I always like to get a feel for what I’m up against before diving in. I skimmed through each chamber, noting the elemental weaknesses and resistances. Seemed pretty standard, nothing too crazy.

Team Building Time
Next, I started putting together my teams. For the first half, I generally default to some kind of hyperbloom comp. I’ve got Nahida, so that’s a no-brainer. Then I added my best Hydro applicator. Lastly, I need Electro and she is perfect to be a battery.
- Chamber 1 First Half: Nahida, Xinqiu, Kuki, Kazuha.
- Chamber 1 Second Half: Alhaitham, Yae, Fischl, Zhongli.
For the second half, It hought, okay, let’s try to build a strong single-target team.
I went through all three chambers using these setups, just to see how they’d do. I’m not the best player, so perfect rotations and all that? Not my strong suit. I mostly just button mash and hope for the best, haha.
The Runs
I started my first run, and…it was a bit rough, not gonna lie. I think I got through the first two chambers okay-ish, but the third one was a struggle. My timing was off on some of the dodges, and my energy management wasn’t great. I ended up retrying a few times, just to get a better feel for the enemies’ attack patterns.
After I finish running all the chambers, Finally, I got all stars.

I am not sure if my team comps are good, but they can get the job done!
