Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this Honkai: Star Rail game lately, and let me tell you, the whole “banner” thing is a trip. I was really hyped up about this new character, Jade. She’s supposed to be a 5-star Quantum character, whatever that means. Anyway, I heard she is coming out on July 10, 2024. So, I started saving up my in-game currency, these Star Passes, like a madman.
First, I started looking up some info on the internet. It said that Jade is going to show up in the Phase II of V2.3. And guess what? Argenti is also going to be there, doing his first rerun on the same banner. That’s kinda cool, two big names at the same time. I got excited thinking about pulling both of them but it was too hard, so I decided to pull Jade. Also, this Jade character, she’s a damage dealer and can pick an ally as a “Debt Collector.” When she or this Debt Collector attacks, she gets these things called “Charges.” Sounds powerful, right?
I was playing the game, grinding away, trying to get as many Star Passes as possible. I learned that any 5-star has a 0.6% chance of dropping, and for 5-star characters, it’s 0.3%. Man, those are some slim odds. But I was determined, I really wanted Jade on my team.
Then I saw this online guide, a “KQM Quick Guide” for Jade. It talked about the best builds, Relics, Light Cones, and teams for her. I didn’t understand half of it, but it sounded like there’s a whole strategy to this game that I’m just starting to figure out. The guide was too boring so I gave up reading it.
So, I kept playing, hoarding my Star Passes. The anticipation was killing me. Then I realized, there’s another 5-star character, Firefly, coming up too. As a free-to-play player, choosing between Firefly and Jade was a tough call. I had to do some serious thinking. But my heart was set on Jade, so I stuck to my original plan.
I also found out that besides Jade, there are going to be some 4-star characters in the banner too. Serval, a Lightning character, and Natasha, a Physical character, are supposed to be there. They sounded pretty cool, but let’s be honest, I was all in for Jade.
Finally, I even found the Honkai Star Rail 3.0 banner schedule. It’s all planned out by the developers, these HoYoverse folks. It’s crazy how much detail they put into this stuff. But for me, it was all about getting ready for Jade’s banner.
So yeah, that’s my story. I played, I researched, I planned, and I waited. Now, it is just waiting for the banner to drop. It’s been a wild ride, but I’m hoping it’ll all be worth it when I finally get Jade on my team. Wish me luck, guys!
